Here comes the most-awaited (I think.) Hypertension is one of the major health problems of this age; it is caused by several factors like diet and lifestyle, genetics and age to name a few. Let me not overemphasize this topic by going directly to the regimen I learned first-hand from my dad.

5. Hypertension

Taheebo and King of Bitters--sound familiar to you? These are my dad's secret in combating hypertension. For the record, he was rushed in the ICU for three times due to heart attack. The worst one leading to congestive heart disease. Doctors even told us he needs to undergo angioplasty but his health even with that will regess, they said.

With years of very expensive maintenance medications, dad taught of using herbal medicines to aid his condition. and yes, at sixty plus now, I can say he even became healthier and stronger--thanks to those herbs    he personally cultured.

Taheebo, locally called as balbas-pusa and King of Bitters or serpentina proved to be very effective body cleansers. Not only were the clogs in the blood vessels gone, causing his hypertension, all of his internal organs are in perfect shape after his general check-up, even his doctor was amazed!

So, how does dad does the regimen? So simple, he just hand picks fresh leaves of serpentina and taheebo, seven of each for a cup of freshly boiled water, again covered and set aside for a few minutes, which he drinks thrice daily.

I can't blame my dad's obsession with herbal plants, I myself is one of his 'followers', having my own vacant spaces planted with these herbs, because they are undeniably and superbly effective (minus the expenses).:)

I hope these blog series helped you, for anything I can help you with, please do not hesitate to leave your comment/s. Thank you!
